"I have become all things to all people, that I might by all means save some."
God is light and Light to eye reveals.
In demon days true culture now concealed. Jesus Christ our sun and rising source, Lifting winter answers every question. Seasons shift as nature changes dress. Dark obscures, divides, and isolates. Freedom is communion with the Light; Spirit, Logos, Family, and Life. The children of the Father gaining flight. Uniting movement of the Body Christ. |
The Church refines in fire trialed time.
Our family estranged 'till future finds. Fathers lamed by virtues unattained. Mothers chained to agency unclaimed. Saving souls they trade for empty treasure. Natural beauty veiled by devil tech. And children slaved to rhythms of the night. Our light must strike into their psyches mend. As the dark designs again descend, Jesus, Mary, Joseph be our friends. |
The Body of God seeks its members. Light for the healing of our wounds. Resources for renewal.
March 19, 2022 - Solemnity of Saint Joseph Spouse of Mary
"You and I, Auberon Quin, have both of us throughout our lives been again and again called mad. And we are mad. We are mad, because we are not two men, but one man. We are mad, because we are two lobes of the same brain, and that brain has been cloven in two. And if you ask for the proof of it, it is not hard to find. It is not merely that you, the humorist, have been in these dark days stripped of the joy of gravity. It is not merely that I, the fanatic, have had to grope without humour. It is that, though we seem to be opposite in everything, we have been opposite like man and woman, aiming at the same moment at the same practical thing.
"I know of something that will alter that antagonism, something that is outside us, something that you and I have all our lives perhaps taken too little account of. The equal and eternal human being will alter that antagonism, for the human being sees no real antagonism between laughter and respect, the human being, the common man, whom mere geniuses like you and me can only worship like a god. When dark and dreary days come, you and I are necessary, the pure fanatic, the pure satirist. We have between us remedied a great wrong. We have lifted the modern cities into that poetry which every one who knows mankind knows to be immeasurably more common than the commonplace. But in healthy people there is no war between us. We are but the two lobes of the brain of a ploughman. Laughter and love are everywhere. The cathedrals, built in the ages that loved God, are full of blasphemous grotesques. The mother laughs continually at the child, the lover laughs continually at the lover, the wife at the husband, the friend at the friend. Auberon Quin, we have been too long separated; let us go out together. You have a halberd and I a sword, let us start our wanderings over the world. For we are its two essentials. Come, it is already day."
- Gilbert Keith Chesterton. The Napoleon of Notting Hill
"'What a blessing it is when believing husband and believing wife sanctify each other in true fear of the Lord!' In one of his meditations Francis [de Sales] shares a 'vision' of the married living a devout life where, in the words of Pope Benedict XVI, the 'inseparable connection' between agape and eros becomes manifest. 'See the crowded ranks of the married who live so calmly together in mutual respect, which cannot be had without great charity. See how these devout souls wed care of the exterior house to that of the interior, that is, the love of their earthly spouse with that of the heavenly Spouse. . . .' Look upon the eyes of the Savior who comforts them, and see how all of them together aspire to him. . . . The crucified King calls you by name, 'Come, my well-beloved, come, that I may crown you'.”

"How you think is everything! Most people let their government do their thinking for them. Why?
"Back in 2000 I wrote Becoming Your Own Banker—The Infinite Banking Concept and in it I briefly addressed the subject of retirement plans and specifically Tax Qualified Retirement Plans. Since that time it has become more apparent to me that this idea needs to be addressed more fully. Americans have become increasingly dependent on an idea that is defective and won’t work. Basically, it is a Socialist idea and history has proved conclusively that Socialism won’t work.
"There is a fundamental reason for this fact that most people fail to recognize. To make my position on this subject perfectly clear let me state that, as of this writing, I am 81 years old. I have been a Christian since age 9 and have studied the Bible through and through during these years. I have also studied, with a passion, the teachings of the “Austrian” school of economics for over 55 years. From this background it is very evident to me that all government programs are nothing more than a manifestation of man trying to play god, in the pagan sense of the word. The book of Exodus in the Bible tells you that God is a jealous God. (Exodus 20:5) He won’t put up with such efforts by man trying to displace Him in the order of things.
"All government programs are initiated under the guise of “helping” citizens—when the real object is to control their lives. There is always the “hidden agenda” that is never stated. And Americans swallow the apparent immediate benefit, never realizing that there is a hook in that bait. In fact, as a student of Austrian Economics, if you give me the mission statement of any government plan I can predict, in due course, the eventual outcome with absolute certainty. As Shakespeare said, “[The] Truth will out.” Just give it enough time. But man sees things over a very short time span as compared with that of God. His time table and ours are different.
"All such efforts by man eventually fail—but they do so over a long enough time frame that man does not see it happening to him. He is subject to the “boiled frog syndrome.” Put a frog in water his temperature and he is comfortable. Add a tiny bit of heat and he is still comfortable. He gets used to it. Add a tiny bit more and he is still comfortable, etc. Keep that process up and you can boil him! Now, I don’t know whether that is true or not, but it is a great word picture of what has happened in the economic world of America. There are countless analogies that prove this point.
"Another object of this writing is to demonstrate that we live in a world of lies! Everywhere we turn we are confronted with lies to the point of not being able to recognize this fact. John Stossel wrote a book in the recent past entitled Myths, Lies and Downright Stupidity—Why Everything You Know Is Not True, in which he demonstrates this truth. Napoleon Bonaparte is credited with the observation, “History is lies agreed upon.”
"Just a few days after September 11, 2001 Stephen Yates, a Philosophy Professor affiliated with the Ludwig von Mises Institute wrote an article on LewRockwell.com about a book he had read earlier that year where the two authors had predicted that something like 9/11 was going to occur somewhere about that time frame—give or take a couple of years on either side—that would change the world forever. Has the world changed since that time? Unless you are a “boiled frog” just look at what is happening all around you. Try taking a trip in an airplane. The world had changed significantly! All kinds of nonsense is going on under the supposed mission of protecting us."

Saint Raphael, heal our wounds and illuminate our journey to achieve the mission God has assigned us.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Saint Gabriel, announce to us God's Will and give us the strength to do it today and always.

September 22, 2021 - First Day of Fall
We rise and fall together family. That which hurts us most is the greatest gift to our act of Love. Even when our very best is treated like trash, the choice to keep loving can heal the wound. The world is upside down; you can't see it right until you fall from it. We let go of our fantasies so that we can hold on to each other. Forgiveness is the penance we owe for our sins. I fall in love with you all again each day. I fall, I die, and yet I live. I choose to love you because it's everything, it's all I have, it's God in me. And I groan with The Spirit for the winter of this life and the spring of Eternal Sun.
Come, Lord Jesus.
Come, Lord Jesus.
September 15, 2021 - Our Mother of Sorrows
On the Cross her Son was dying.
Mary stood beneath Him crying, Sharing in His saving cross. As He hangs, her soul is grieving, and a sword her heart is cleaving and she weeps the bitter loss. O, the sad, afflicted Mother of the Son beyond all others: only Son of God most high. Full of grief, her heart is aching; watching Him, her body, quaking, trembles as her offspring dies. Who would see Christ’s mother crying at the bitter crucifying without tears of sympathy? Who could see her depth of feeling - thoughts of many hearts revealing - and not share her agony? Pardon for our sins entreating, She saw Him endure the beating. All our guilt on Him was cast. She stood by in contemplation When her Son, in desolation Breathed His spirit forth at last. Font of love, O Blessed Mother, lend me tears to mourn my Brother. Never let my ardor dim. Let my heart be burning freely, Christ my God be pleased to see me all on fire with love for Him. |
This I ask, O Holy Mary,
that His wounds I too may carry: fix them deeply in my heart. Mine the burden He was bearing; let me in His pain be sharing; of His suffering take a part. Let me join in your lamenting, through my life weep unrelenting tears for Jesus Crucified. Let me stand and share your weeping, all the day death’s vigil keeping, glad to stand close by your side. Queen of all the virgin choir, judge me not when I aspire your pure tears to emulate. Let me share in Christ’s affliction - death by bitter crucifixion - and His wounds commemorate. Let me taste the pains He offered, drunk with love for Him who suffered. May His wounds become my own. On the day of Christ’s returning may my heart be lit and burning. Virgin, aid me at His throne. May His Cross be interceding and His death my vict’ry pleading. May He hold me in His grace. When my flesh by death is taken, may my soul to glory waken and in heaven take a place. Amen. |

“Saint Joseph was a stabilizing force in the life of Our Lady and Jesus. He was their protector and guard, but he was also a source of great love. His chaste love for Our Lady was given in temperance. In knowing of Our Lady’s witness of receptivity to the Holy Spirit, he never desired to grasp. He only desired to love her rightly. Temperance did not make his love cold. He loved Our Lady with real passion that was ordered to her good (and to his). Temperance ‘moderates the attraction of pleasures and provides balance … it ensures the will’s mastery over instincts and keeps desires within the limits of what is honorable. The temperate person directs the sensitive appetites toward what is good…’ (CCC 1809).”

”To live well is nothing other than to love God with all one’s heart, with all one’s soul and with all one’s efforts; from this it comes about that love is kept whole and uncorrupted.”

”Did you ever wonder why the media won’t name the lockdowns as the culprit of much of the damage caused by the pandemic? It’s not just denialism. The official narrative is that we had no choice but to shatter life as we know it and shut everything down. Sadly, nothing could be further from the truth. No intervention like this has ever taken place in history. The lockdowns are an egregious attack on fundamental rights, liberties, and the rule of law. And the results are all around us. Even after a full year of lockdowns, the public remains mostly deeply ignorant of the age/health gradient of COVID-19 fatalities, even though the data have been available since February 2020. According to the CDC—even conceding the inaccuracy of testing and exigencies of fatality classification—the survivability rate is 99.997 percent for 0–19 years, 99.98 percent for 20–49 years, 99.5 percent for 50–69 years, and 94.6 percent for 70-plus years.
Nursing homes and hospitals have been the main vectors for disease, not social gatherings or outdoor events. The threat to school-aged kids approaches zero. The more information we get, the more normal the SARS-CoV-2 pathogen seems. It’s a respiratory and flu-like illness that became pandemic before becoming endemic, just like so many other respiratory viruses over the last hundred years. We didn’t shut down society, and, for that reason, we managed them just fine.
Many of us spend a good part of our day poring over the latest research, which reveals the terrible toll of the lockdowns. The inescapable horror is that this is a direct result of the lockdowns, not the pandemic. There’s no evidence that lockdowns have actually saved lives. On the contrary, evidence shows a significant number of excess deaths are due not to COVID-19 but to drug overdoses, depression, and suicide. The evidence also highlights the role of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing in driving the pandemic narrative, the falsehood of “asymptomatic transmission,” the incredible proliferation of disease misclassification, and the absurdity of the idea that political solutions can intimidate and arrest a virus."
"Besides exposing the reckless gain-of-function lab origins of the virus and taking action to make sure this never happens again, we desperately need to expose the shoddy science, inaccurate lab tests, misleading statistics, and panic-mongering driving the official story on the nature and virulence of COVID-19 and the disastrous, authoritarian measures—beneficial to the rich, disastrous to the working class, minority communities, and youth—that most governments have implemented to, supposedly, contain the virus.
Thus far, the pandemic has triggered or contributed to disease and death among the elderly and those with serious preexisting medical conditions, or comorbidities, as covered in chapter 4. It has also triggered widespread panic and fear in the general population, on a scale not seen since World War II. Panic-mongering has enabled opportunistic politicians, out-of-control scientists and genetic engineers, public health bureaucrats, and large corporations, especially Big Pharma and the tech giants, to consolidate their wealth and power as never before."
"The fact that the pandemic has been used to shift wealth from the poor and middle class to the ultra-wealthy is clear for anyone to see at this point. In December 2020 the total wealth of US billionaires reached $4 trillion, more than $1 trillion of which was gained since March 2020 when the pandemic began, according to a study by the Institute for Policy Studies.3
While 45.5 million Americans filed for unemployment, 29 new billionaires were created, the Institute for Policy Studies reported in June 2020, and five of the richest men in the US—Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffett, and Larry Ellison—grew their wealth by a total of $101.7 billion (26 percent) between March 18 and June 17, 2020, alone.4
The reason the wealthy have only gotten richer during this pandemic is that their businesses weren’t shut down. The shutdowns primarily affected small, privately owned businesses. The disparity in treatment of big-box stores and small retailers has been strikingly illogical. How is it safe to shop with hundreds of people in a Walmart but unsafe to shop in a store that can only hold a fraction of that?
Pandemic profiteers include online retailers and Big Tech companies like Amazon, Zoom, Skype, Netflix, Google, and Facebook, along with some of the largest retailers. Walmart and Target, for example, reported record sales in 2020.5 As noted by IPS News: “The COVID pandemic has not been the ‘Great Equalizer’ as suggested by the likes of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and members of the World Economic Forum. Rather, it has exacerbated existing inequalities along gender, race and economic class divides across the world.”
As the World Economic Forum states, 'With some 2.6 billion people around the world in some kind of lockdown, we are conducting arguably the largest psychological experiment ever.' Our would-be global overlords openly admit that they are laying down the foundations for what they euphemistically call a Great Reset or a Fourth Industrial Revolution—a technocratic dictatorship, based upon digital surveillance, social control, and artificial intelligence, more akin to George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984 than anything else.
As a direct result of disastrous government responses, medical malpractice, and mass media panic-mongering surrounding COVID-19, the world has been turned upside down. Lockdowns, censorship, shoddy science, misleading statistics, half-truths, and outright lies have exacerbated any damage caused by the virus itself.
While the billionaire class has prospered, the global grassroots, especially the underclass, racial minorities, and children, suffer the brunt of the crisis: economic meltdown, mass unemployment, hunger, the collapse of small businesses, school closures, mass anxiety, social isolation, and unprecedented political polarization."
"Establishment health officials, virologists, and genetic engineers are funded by military biodefense/biowarfare programs, Big Pharma, and government. They contend the SARS-CoV-2 virus is so infectious and dangerous that there are currently no existing medical drugs, treatment protocols, supplements, natural herbs, health practices, or dietary or lifestyle changes that can strengthen your natural immune system and protect you from serious illness, hospitalization, or even death from the virus.
The authorities tell you there is no choice but to follow orders, obey the rules of mask wearing and lockdowns, and wait for Big Pharma to deliver at “Warp Speed” their inadequately tested, genetically engineered vaccines. This orchestrated panic narrative is a Big Lie, meant to keep us, the global underclass, in line, locked down, and obeying authority.
With the body politic divided, misinformed, censored, and living in panic, the globalists, the world economic elite, can consolidate their wealth and power beyond anything the world has ever seen, hiding behind the excuse that they are safeguarding public health, mitigating climate change, and eliminating poverty and unemployment. In the shadow of the Big Lie, our only hope is to spread the truth, resist, get organized, and stop this tyrannical New World Order."

"Yet it was the will of the Lord to bruise him;
he has put him to grief;
when he makes himself an offering for sin,
he shall see his offspring, he shall prolong his days;
the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand;
he shall see the fruit of the travail of his soul and be satisfied;
by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant,
make many to be accounted righteous;
and he shall bear their iniquities.
Therefore I will divide him a portion with the great,
and he shall divide the spoil with the strong;
because he poured out his soul to death,
and was numbered with the transgressors;
yet he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors."

"Christ is both the way and the door. Christ is the staircase and the vehicle, like the throne of mercy over the Ark of the Covenant, and the mystery hidden from the ages. A man should turn his full attention to this throne of mercy, and should gaze at him hanging on the cross, full of faith, hope and charity, devoted, full of wonder and joy, marked by gratitude, and open to praise and jubilation. Then such a man will make with Christ a pasch, that is, a passing-over. Through the branches of the cross he will pass over the Red Sea, leaving Egypt and entering the desert. There he will taste the hidden manna, and rest with Christ in the sepulchre, as if he were dead to things outside. He will experience, as much as is possible for one who is still living, what was promised to the thief who hung beside Christ: Today you will be with me in paradise.
For this passover to be perfect, we must suspend all the operations of the mind and we must transform the peak of our affections, directing them to God alone. This is a sacred mystical experience. It cannot be comprehended by anyone unless he surrenders himself to it; nor can he surrender himself to it unless he longs for it; nor can he long for it unless the Holy Spirit, whom Christ sent into the world, should come and inflame his innermost soul. Hence the Apostle says that this mystical wisdom is revealed by the Holy Spirit.
If you ask how such things can occur, seek the answer in God’s grace, not in doctrine; in the longing of the will, not in the understanding; in the sighs of prayer, not in research; seek the bridegroom not the teacher; God and not man; darkness not daylight; and look not to the light but rather to the raging fire that carries the soul to God with intense fervour and glowing love. The fire is God, and the furnace is in Jerusalem, fired by Christ in the ardour of his loving passion. Only he understood this who said: My soul chose hanging and my bones death. Anyone who cherishes this kind of death can see God, for it is certainly true that: No man can look upon me and live.
Let us die, then, and enter into the darkness, silencing our anxieties, our passions and all the fantasies of our imagination. Let us pass over with the crucified Christ from this world to the Father, so that, when the Father has shown himself to us, we can say with Philip: It is enough. We may hear with Paul: My grace is sufficient for you; and we can rejoice with David, saying: My flesh and my heart fail me, but God is the strength of my heart and my heritage for ever. Blessed be the Lord for ever, and let all the people say: Amen. Amen!"

LOVE is not some FEELING you need someone to give to you, it is God in you that you CHOOSE to be in communion with. By the simple act of choosing God, through the invitation of Jesus Christ, you now possess the Gift. However, the nature of the gift is to be given away. So only in GIVING TO OTHERS that which you feel you need can you truly receive the FULLNESS OF JOY back into your emptiness. Poured out and always overflowing. Participation in the sacraments of the Catholic Church are the first WAY to let go of our needs and let them flow out to the family of God. Repentance and Confession allows God to forget our failed attempts. Penance overwrites the old choice. The Eucharist feeds us the sacrificial LOVE we are to share with those in front of us. Prayer is the battle we fight to remember who we are and the gift we possess as children of God. The choice is new every moment. Keep Faith in Hope's promise of Love for you and share that message with all you meet.

This is the sad truth of our time, most people are historically ignorant, and it is not an accident. History is our primary weapon against evil, from it flows our knowledge of the human story, its culmination in the life of Christ, and the memory of our only real social evolution that occurred by means of the Catholic Church. The devil exists and his attacks are simple to discern, they are attacks on the memory of the 'good news' both in our personal lives as well as world history. Our calling is to defend the right memory of Christ (the one, holy, apostolic deposit of faith) and those experiences of His Love in our lives (our witness) and throughout time (scripture). We do this today in our relationships and tomorrow in our children. We must put on the armor of God against the principalities, powers, and spiritual deceivers. The large majority of public media and politics is under the control of satanic forces. Accept it. Embrace it. That is our reality today. Only when we stop listening to these voices, trusting in their narratives, and submitting to their manipulative images and symbols, only then will we possess eyes to see and ears to hear the Truth. The Truth is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. The Truth is that God conquered Satan in the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, into whose Body we are born through our submission to the sacramental economy of the traditional Catholic Church. We are not here to be happy and safe. We are here to learn how to love through suffering, so that we may be saved and save our family and loved ones in the process. We must accept collective culpability for all human evil and bear the responsibility and consequences of those who came before us. We ought waste no further energy to victimhood and blaming. We are called to forgive and love one another, and to trust God with our futures, that's it. Make your most loving choice and see it through to death. It's that simple. Stop asking for signs, stop waiting for someone else to do things for you. Just do the small simple acts of love that you can do today, in Jesus' name and for His glory, then, all will be well and your joy will be invincible. The mentality of the world is survival of the fittest, but we must have the mind of Christ. The mind of Christ is to seek glory in service and submission to the Catholic Church. The first shall be last and the last shall be first.
A prophecy delivered by Fr. Michael Scanlan in 1976:
"Son of man, do you see that city going bankrupt? Are you willing to see all your cities going bankrupt? Are you willing to see the bankruptcy of the whole economic system you rely on now so that all money is worthless and cannot support you? Son of man, do you see the crime and lawlessness in your city streets, and towns, and institutions? Are you willing to see no law, no order, no protection for you except that which I myself will give you? Son of man, do you see the country which you love and which you are now celebrating—a country’s history that you look back on with nostalgia? Are you willing to see no country—no country to call your own except those I give you as my body? Will you let me bring you life in my body and only there? Son of man, do you see those churches which you can go to so easily now? Are you ready to see them with bars across their doors, with doors nailed shut? Are you ready to base your life only on me and not on any particular structure? Are you ready to depend only on me and not on all the institutions of schools and parishes that you are working so hard to foster? Son of man, I call you to be ready for that. That is what I am telling you about. The structures are falling and changing—it is not for you to know the details now—but do not rely on them as you have been. I want you to make a deeper commitment to one another. I want you to trust one another, to build an interdependence that is based on my Spirit. It is an interdependence that is no luxury. It is absolute necessity for those who will base their lives on me and not the structures from a pagan world. I have spoken and it will take place. My word will go forth to my people. They may hear and they may not—and I will respond accord-ingly—but this is my word. Look about you son of man. When you see it all shut down, when you see everything removed which has been taken for granted, and when you are prepared to live without these things, then you will know what I am making ready."

"What is the greatest temptation? Money, sex, power? They seem to be the obvious ones, and we are easily caught by one or all of them. In the monastic traditions, vows of poverty, celibacy, and obedience are intended to help monks and nuns resist the temptations of money, sex, and power and to follow the way of Jesus. But over the years I have come to the conclusion that the greatest and most destructive temptation may not be any of these three. I wonder if the greatest temptation is self-rejection. Could it be that beneath all the lures to greed, lust, and success rests a great fear of never being enough or not being lovable? Instead of taking a careful look at the circumstances or trying to understand my own and others’ limitations without rejection or judgment, when I fall into temptation, I tend to blame myself— not just for what I did but for who I am. My dark side says, “I am no good. I deserve to be pushed aside, forgotten, rejected, and abandoned.” Self-rejection is the greatest enemy of the spiritual life because it contradicts the sacred voice that calls us God’s beloved. Being the beloved expresses the core truth of our existence.
How do I discern the voice that says “be humble” from the one that says “you’re nothing”? Humility has nothing to do with self-rejection. You can only be humble if you have a deep self-respect. Self-rejection cannot form the basis of a humble life. It leads only to complaints, jealousy, anger, and even violence. It is a most dangerous temptation. I know this from my own experience. Every time I start to experience myself as worthless or useless, a “nobody,” I know I am on the slippery slope to isolation and dark emotions. I know that I give hope to others only when I have found that hope in the midst of my own despair. At times I find myself so deeply pulled into my own darkness that hope escapes me. How can I speak heart to heart about hope when I am still a victim of my own despair? I am so little in control of my feelings and emotions! Often I have to just let them pass through me and trust that they won’t hang around too long. I have found that Saint Teresa’s call to focus on the goodness of God when I need to discern helps me fight the demons of despair, self-rejection, and fear, and has overcome the powers of darkness with the power of God many times. I have often prayed the prayer of Saint Teresa, “Solo Dios basta, God alone is enough,” when I have needed to discern whether what I was hearing and experiencing was of God or not. Praying these words slowly and out loud can help me enter into God’s presence, where there is peace and certainty that God is always with me and loves me.
Let nothing disturb you
Let nothing frighten you.
Those who cling to God
will lack nothing
Let nothing disturb you
Let nothing frighten you
God alone is enough."

“Something strange is happening—there is a great silence on earth today, a great silence and stillness. The whole earth keeps silence because the King is asleep. The earth trembled and is still because God has fallen asleep in the flesh and he has raised up all who have slept ever since the world began. God has died in the flesh and hell trembles with fear.
He has gone to search for our first parent, as for a lost sheep. Greatly desiring to visit those who live in darkness and in the shadow of death, he has gone to free from sorrow the captives Adam and Eve, he who is both God and the son of Eve. The Lord approached them bearing the cross, the weapon that had won him the victory. At the sight of him Adam, the first man he had created, struck his breast in terror and cried out to everyone: “My Lord be with you all.” Christ answered him: “And with your spirit.” He took him by the hand and raised him up, saying: “Awake, O sleeper, and rise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”
I am your God, who for your sake have become your son. Out of love for you and for your descendants I now by my own authority command all who are held in bondage to come forth, all who are in darkness to be enlightened, all who are sleeping to arise. I order you, O sleeper, to awake. I did not create you to be held a prisoner in hell. Rise from the dead, for I am the life of the dead. Rise up, work of my hands, you who were created in my image. Rise, let us leave this place, for you are in me and I am in you; together we form only one person and we cannot be separated.
For your sake I, your God, became your son; I, the Lord, took the form of a slave; I, whose home is above the heavens, descended to the earth and beneath the earth. For your sake, for the sake of man, I became like a man without help, free among the dead. For the sake of you, who left a garden, I was betrayed to the Jews in a garden, and I was crucified in a garden.
See on my face the spittle I received in order to restore to you the life I once breathed into you. See there the marks of the blows I received in order to refashion your warped nature in my image. On my back see the marks of the scourging I endured to remove the burden of sin that weighs upon your back. See my hands, nailed firmly to a tree, for you who once wickedly stretched out your hand to a tree.
I slept on the cross and a sword pierced my side for you who slept in paradise and brought forth Eve from your side. My side has healed the pain in yours. My sleep will rouse you from your sleep in hell. The sword that pierced me has sheathed the sword that was turned against you.
Rise, let us leave this place. The enemy led you out of the earthly paradise. I will not restore you to that paradise, but I will enthrone you in heaven. I forbade you the tree that was only a symbol of life, but see, I who am life itself am now one with you. I appointed cherubim to guard you as slaves are guarded, but now I make them worship you as God. The throne formed by cherubim awaits you, its bearers swift and eager. The bridal chamber is adorned, the banquet is ready, the eternal dwelling places are prepared, the treasure houses of all good things lie open. The kingdom of heaven has been prepared for you from all eternity.”

March 25, 2021 - The Annunciation of the Lord
True freedom comes through passionate commitment to the vision God has placed upon your heart, even when you cannot yet see how it might be. Notice that Mary, even while under the submission of Joseph, becomes the representative to God of Joseph's consent, and ultimately, consents for all Christians of all time. Thus, she is advocate for all of us and thereby spouse of the Holy Spirit in that grace. She is co-redemptrix because Christ made his sacrifice dependent upon hers. God did not have to, but he chose to have a physical mother and a spiritual father on this earth. There is no competition in the role of holy parents, for the last shall be first and the first shall be last. And the greatest of all, the child to whom all the parents' freedom and energy was mutually but differently focused, became the servant and savior of all. Masculinity and femininity are restraints only to men and women who are afraid to make the gift, afraid to trust. But for those who make the fiat to God's design, without looking back, true sexual freedom is attained. And the love that the mother and father have for each other, and that they witness to the child, this love becomes the total inspiration for that divine self-gift that emptied the God-child into our humanity. Jesus Christ did not do it alone, and neither can we, our children need us to be holy. JMJ, pray for us.

Question: You said the goal is to have peace in the home. How do you accomplish that? I grew up in a non-Christian home where everyone was always fighting, and I do not want our family to turn out that way. Our children are much better behaved than my siblings and I were, but they still spend too much time fighting and crabbing at each other.
Answer: In our travels we have stayed with quite a few families. Here are some of our observations: In families where peace reigns, we notice that the children have respect for father and mother. You can see it in their faces. The children want to please their parents. They know father is in charge, and they look to him for answers. Father knows what is best. They know that their mother controls the household to serve their father, and they understand that father rules the family to serve the Lord. When children are made to understand the order and purpose of things, and they live out their role in that order and purpose – that is peace. Of course, wise parents rule and control their family and household with kindness and gentleness and tender loving care. They are fallen creatures themselves, and are not always wise. But the more the family matches the ideal, the more peace reigns. In families where peace does not reign, we notice that the children lack respect for the father and mother. The household revolves around the children and their likes or dislikes, their moods, their desires. They know that their parents are intent on pleasing them, and they use this as a manipulative tool. When the child is displeased, uncomfortable, or inconvenienced, the parents consistently go out of their way to please the child. They think their little child is so smart, or cute, or witty. In other words, the order and purpose and roles of this family are inverted, and anything which might resemble peace for a moment is just a temporary lapse in the ongoing war over who is in charge. Children may know how to speak and understand words, but this does not mean that communication is happening at the level which it should. We cannot assume that they will come to us and tell us what is bothering them. If we detect something wrong with an attitude or an action, then we need to discuss it with our child. Do not wait until the action or attitude gets unbearable. There was a time when our older daughter began to treat her younger sister very coldly. She was excluding her from things, not confiding in her any more, and siding up with the youngest daughter. It began slowly, and we did not really notice it until it had been happening for perhaps four or five months. The younger daughter had to come to me and point it out. Only when she pointed it out did I see it. Something can begin so small, yet if you do not catch it, it can grow very big, and you still must have it pointed out to you. By the time I began to address the issue, the younger daughter was angry with her sister for treating her that way. It took several weeks to straighten out the matter. The older daughter did not even realize what she was doing. She repented, her sister forgave her, and we had to go through several weeks of pointing out to the older daughter when she was exhibiting the undesirable behavior (acting coldly to her sister). She had developed the habit of treating her sister that way, and I had to help her break the habit. Praise God, He put the desire in her to change. But, what if the older one did not repent, but preferred to treat her sister coldly – for whatever reason? Then I must enforce proper behavior.

March 12, 2021 - Fourth Friday of Lent
"In the light of what it has been given us to know, we must presume that (in numbers completely unknown to us) humans will be included in “the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matt. 25: 41), and that we ourselves could be among that number. It is such a presumption that the words of Jesus and the teaching of the Church would appear to have as their own, and better guides in this matter we cannot have. Against such a presumption one cannot have what is properly defined as theological hope, but we can and must have a human hope, a wish which expresses itself in prayer and zealous efforts, for the salvation of all. This “presumption” which is given to us in Scripture and tradition by a God who is utterly truthful and will not deceive is in opposition to the prevailing “presumption” that everybody or almost everybody will be saved and that finite human freedom is unable to finally resist the grace of God. The current “theological consensus” as Sachs has stated it is precisely the reverse of what has been revealed to us as it has been understood by the Church throughout the ages. This presents us with a very serious situation. In a sympathetic but critical review of McClymond’s work, Roberto De La Noval, a professor of theology at Notre Dame, comes to the startling conclusion that a gap is opening up in the Christian churches between universalists and traditional Christianity and that what we are really facing is a conflict between “two different Gospels,” and that is certainly the case. We can’t avoid a choice. And in my opinion, those who choose against the traditional understanding of these matters are choosing a deception that only the devil will benefit from, a pernicious presumption on the mercy of God that will encourage countless souls to happily embark on the “broad way” that only leads to destruction. Painful decisions await many of us. It is time to stop straddling the issue. We have to make a choice, for Scripture and tradition or for a “different Gospel,” really, a different, man-made religion. If we have fallen into deception on these matters, we need to repent and embrace again the truth and make reparation for damage we may have done in weakening people’s faith, confirming them in lukewarmness, and affirming them in immoral choices.
“Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few. Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? So, every sound tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit. A sound tree cannot bear evil fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.’ Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.” And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as their scribes. (Matt 7: 13– 29)
The world and Church are full of false prophets who tell us that virtually everyone will be saved or, even more boldly, that everyone will be saved. Denial of the truths connected to Jesus’s urgent warnings to enter by the narrow gate or door, in my opinion, has contributed mightily to the accelerating institutional collapse of the Church that we are now experiencing in the developed countries. The whole witness of Scripture is to the two ways, one of which leads home to the Father’s house and one of which leads to the “outer darkness” where there is “weeping and gnashing of teeth” (see Matt 8: 12). Jesus’s clear and urgent warnings are spoken out of love, wanting us all to be in the Father’s house and part of his body before the door closes. It’s also clear that false prophets and teachers will be severely judged: But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their licentiousness, and because of them the way of truth will be reviled…. These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm; for them the nether gloom of darkness has been reserved. (2 Pet 2: 1– 2, 17) The truth of the narrow door is relevant not only for the urgency to preach the Gospel to those who haven’t heard it but also for the baptized who aren’t living as disciples of Christ, the primary “target audience” of the New Evangelization. Although it is very important to understand the actual situation of non-Christians in regard to salvation and the necessity of preaching the Gospel, it is also important to understand what the Council (and Scripture!) teaches about the salvation of baptized Catholics. Based on some of the same and similar Scripture passages we have been considering, the Church teaches that it is not enough just to be baptized or even go to Church on Sundays, but that unless we actually obey the teachings of Jesus in thought, word, and deed, not only will we not be saved, but we will be the more severely judged. Vatican II makes this stunningly clear: He is not saved, however, who, though part of the body of the Church, does not persevere in charity. He remains indeed in the bosom of the Church, but, as it were, only in a “bodily” manner and not “in his heart.” All the Church’s children should remember that their exalted status is to be attributed not to their own merits but to the special grace of Christ. If they fail moreover to respond to that grace in thought, word and deed, not only shall they not be saved but they will be the more severely judged.
This text is repeated by St. John Paul II at the end of chapter 1 of Redemptoris Missio. Just like the Jews boasting about having the Temple in their midst was not enough to save them from severe judgment, or the Jews in Jesus’s time claiming to be children of Abraham was not enough to save them from condemnation, just claiming we are Catholic is not enough to save any of us from severe judgment. In fact, in Jesus’s time, those who were most proud of being “children of Abraham” were so deeply deceived in their prideful presumption that they were blind to the fact that they were, in fact, children of the devil! (see John 8: 44). God forbid this would be the case with us because of a diabolical presumption. May we all take to heart the solemn warnings that Jesus gives us in Luke 13 and in Matthew 7, and in multiple other texts, strive to humble ourselves, and enter through the narrow gate. And may we help others, through our witness, our prayer, and our fasting, to journey with us on the narrow road, the road that leads back to Paradise. May we find ourselves, at journey’s end, home in the Father’s house, where Jesus has prepared a place for us. The gate to the Father’s house is Jesus. The way back to Paradise is Jesus. Jesus’s words are the only light in the present darkness— and what a light they are— and we ignore them at our great peril."

March 07, 2021 - Third Sunday of Lent
The men's movement, the Trump movement, the traditional movement, the Year of Saint Joseph. The Spirit is preparing us for hard times in need of hard men. As always through history, holy men will be charged with defending the deposit of faith while the civilization collapses. Christ was born in poverty and raised in Babylonian Egypt, our Catholic families will probably have to do the same. We already know the story. A.D. history is the Gospel on repeat. Who are we in the true narrative of reality? A roman? A Pharisee? An apostle? Joseph, Mary, or Jesus? This world is not our home. Christ is on the move, gathering souls for the journey home. Holy Family is our guide and light. Do it. Be it.

Two fantastic interviews discussing the fall of America and the rise of a new Catholicism. Roosh V emphasizes the Christian truth that true love is born out of suffering, laying down our lives for the ones we love. Difficult times increase our supernatural virtues. E. Michael Jones reminds us not to identify by the terms that enemy labels us with, i.e. white, racist, terrorist, homophobe, etc. Holding ourselves to spiritually upright self-definitions, we can at least attempt to lead the low-IQ stereotyping into a more complex discussion. Our narrative is more beautiful than theirs, and Beauty already won.
The Epitaph
Here rests his head upon the lap of earth
A youth to fortune and to fame unknown.
Fair Science frowned not on his humble birth,
And Melancholy marked him for her own.
Large was his bounty, and his soul sincere,
Heaven did a recompense as largely send:
He gave to Misery all he had, a tear,
He gained from Heaven ('twas all he wished) a friend.
No farther seek his merits to disclose,
Or draw his frailties from their dread abode,
(There they alike in trembling hope repose)
The bosom of his Father and his God.

Medical fraud (suppressed cure), election fraud, stock market fraud, and false dichotomies continue to mount. We need to accept the fact that we are living under an organized system of evil that is now almost as influential as it was in the original Garden. They will lie to hundreds of millions of people to their faces without remorse, emotionally manipulating both sides of the non-Cabal classes. They will murder dissenters and call it social justice or suicide. They will kidnap children and abuse them in satanic rituals. They will force you into humiliating hazing rituals like double masks and anal swabs, to dehumanize and demoralize you. This is all the intentional abortification of human communion, as laid out in the decades old plan of international 'elites'. The devil has his children in this world. They are unrestrained now to facilitate their attack on European Catholic patriarchy, which is leadership by Logos. They will continue to herd us, inch by inch, into increasingly unnatural and unholy social structures. Resist compliance. Exit the systems of control as much as possible. Become strong, autonomous, and pure of heart. Federate with other holy Christian men. Fortify the Church.

Watch these ongoing conference lectures brainstorming methods to exit technocracy. Also a video on creative measures to rebel against the unconstitutional lockdowns (designed to destroy small businesses and siphon profits to the megacorporations). Suicide, drug addiction, and domestic violence statistics are sky-rocketing... Useless masks are being normalized to dehumanize us, see studies below. The normal flu season stats have magically disappeared?... People are more afraid to go to Church than catch a virus with a 99.9% recovery rate?... Even if there was a real pandemic, is it worth the loss of your dignity and liberty? Fear is a tool the devil uses to control you. The lockdowns and vaccines are much more dangerous to our health than the virus! All this is designed to build up the surveillance state and gatekeep our American freedoms of thought and action. Covid 19 does no harm to a healthy boosted immune system and there are perfectly effective non-vaccine treatments. Wake up.

The signs of the times are clear. God's people have stood by for the normalization of pornography, fornication, usury, homosexuality, divorce, adulatory, unbelief, blasphemy, and mammon worship... is it really any surprise that He must now remind us what Godlessness always leads to? When we don't show gratitude for the gifts of God, namely Christian love and Christian civilization, then naturally He must take our Christian privileges away. Repent now, pray, and do penance, that we might save our children from the day of evil. We are on the brink. "Rejecting God is going to kill you. God is our life."
Tribulation is a blessing: it will harden and strengthen good men, bring good women back to submission and caretaking, eliminate dangerous luxuries, reorder the hierarchy of values, and make lost souls think twice whose side they're on. In the end, Babylon is always falling. "I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound; in any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and want. I can do all things in him who strengthens me (Phil 4:12-13)."

The infiltration of the Vatican by luciferians does not prove the defectability of the Catholic Church anymore than Judas Iscariot proved Christ was not the Messiah. Nevertheless, here is a good summary discussion of all we are up against. Be not afraid. Jesus already defeated the enemy, and history is replete with examples of last hour, often miraculous, Christian resurgences. God is always one step ahead, but we must be ever vigilant to His voice, through a clear conscience, always ready to act, and constantly praying for the salvation of our families and friends who are still asleep.

The Dark Night is the passage way to self-gift. Through the death of our needs, even our deepest most natural desires, we learn to live for the higher spiritual joy of meeting others' needs. This is the true message of Christian patriarchy and the Way to salvation.

"I want to draw the attention of parents to how Joseph made Me a good worker. From the age, I was able to handle tools, he did not allow Me to sit idle. He made Me work. He used My love for Mary as an inspiration to encourage Me to work. I should make things, which are useful to the mother. That is how a son ought to show respect to the mother, he taught Me. He instructed that a future carpenter should work keeping love, and respect at the forefront. Are there families today that teach children to do work for the happiness of their parents? These days, children are tyrants at home. They grow hard, indifferent and ill-mannered towards parents. They have no love towards them. They make parents their servants, and slaves. And parents have only a little love for their children. When you allow the children to behave according to their whims, you are, with shameful indifference, going away from them. They are everyone’s children, not only yours. But Oh! To be the parents of the 20th century! They are children of the Nurse! They are children of Dathri. If you are poor, then they are children of the street, but they are not yours. Their mothers deliver them; that is all. You, fathers also do the same thing. Do believe that a son or a daughter is not the physical body alone; they have a mind, heart and soul. Nobody else has the kind of responsibility you have, to form their mind, heart and soul. Family is inevitable as long as the human race exists, and it necessarily must be there. Any philosophy or progress, that denies this truth brings about a catastrophe. A broken family produces men and women who will cause greater ruin. And I tell you most solemnly that it is better not to have marriages, and children at all, if there are families that have less unity than the tribes of the monkeys. Families which are not schools of virtue, of work, of love, of religion, is a Babel in which everyone lives on his own like disengaged gears, which end up by breaking. Broken families! You break up the most holy way of social living, and you see, and suffer the consequences. You may continue thus, if you so wish. But do not complain if this world is becoming a deeper and deeper hell, a dwelling place of monsters who devour families and nations."

December 12, 2020 - Our Lady of Guadalupe
"The Lord, coming into his own creation in visible form, was sustained by his own creation which he himself sustains in being. His obedience on the tree of the cross reversed the disobedience at the tree in Eden; the good news of the truth announced by an angel to Mary, a virgin subject to a husband, undid the evil lie that seduced Eve, a virgin espoused to a husband.
As Eve was seduced by the word of an angel and so fled from God after disobeying his word, Mary in her turn was given the good news by the word of an angel, and bore God in obedience to his word. As Eve was seduced into disobedience to God, so Mary was persuaded into obedience to God; thus the Virgin Mary became the advocate of the virgin Eve.
Christ gathered all things into one, by gathering them into himself. He declared war against our enemy, crushed him who at the beginning had taken us captive in Adam, and trampled on his head, in accordance with God’s words to the serpent in Genesis: I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall lie in wait for your head, and you shall lie in wait for his heel.
The one lying in wait for the serpent’s head is the one who was born in the likeness of Adam from the woman, the Virgin. This is the seed spoken of by Paul in the letter to the Galatians: The law of works was in force until the seed should come to whom the promise was made.
He shows this even more clearly in the same letter when he says: When the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman. The enemy would not have been defeated fairly if his vanquisher had not been born of a woman, because it was through a woman that he had gained mastery over man in the beginning, and set himself up as man’s adversary.
That is why the Lord proclaims himself the Son of Man, the one who renews in himself that first man from whom the race born of woman was formed; as by a man’s defeat our race fell into the bondage of death, so by a man’s victory we were to rise again to life."
- From the treatise Against the Heresies by St Irenaeus; 180 A.D.

November 30, 2020 - Saint Andrew the Apostle
The vaccine is not going to end this. It's not safe either and you shouldn't take it. The transformation has begun. The lockdown was never about a pandemic. There was no pandemic. A highly contagious flu strain, with a statistically insignificant fatality rate, was designed and released as cover for the mass destruction of middle class businesses and the doubling of the national debt. Trump was the only force slowing their advance, and now they are attempting to steal the 2020 election and finish the destruction of America. Whether or not the electoral college flips for Trump, the integrity of the US election system has already shattered. The logistical abuses in this election have to be prosecuted and repaired or else our constitutional system will be beyond resuscitation. We are on the brink of a communistic anti-Christian technocracy, and the mainstream Church is acting like everything is going to be fine and all we need to do is just listen to our politicians. Put on your face condom, don't open your business, be afraid of community. Is this what God wants? Does God want us to continue to concede to lies or to stand up for the truth? Does God want us living in fear of death or freedom of life? 'The Great Reset' is the end of Christian Western Civilization. This is a new crusade, whether it becomes violent or not depends on us using our minds to battle it now. Disobedience is our soft rebellion. The men of the Church must stand against this new wave of evil.

Pray for us at capital hill this weekend. Either the media will refuse to cover it, like the march for life, or they will stage some drama to discredit us. They cannot ignore over one million Americans who will fight to maintain political integrity in this country (or at least preserve what's left of it). If we fail, the global satanic agenda will be unleashed. We can't trust the pope, we can't trust the USCCB, but we can trust Christ who speaks in plain truth.

The purpose of life is to become a saint, to fully activate your unique creative genius in the world. We procreate love through our choices to forgive, instruct, and serve. The power of love is sustained by prayer; unceasing mental communion connects the soul-circuit to the power of Christ, the power to be children of light in a world of darkness. The 'rules' of the Church are in place to protect us from stunting our growth and our relationships. Catholic doctrines are not limitations, they are the map for our journey, and the battleplan for our victory. Sin is always the parasite of freedom, no matter how pleasurable it may seem. The pursuit of pleasure, as opposed to service, is boundedness to the realm of matter and human technology. Material immortality is slavery to nature in exchange for the spiritual dignity and rulership we were given by God. Those who fear death submit to the tyranny of Gnosticism, the false promise of a utilitarian utopia. Only the children of the Father are truly free to see and become the beauty of life, as the kingdom of heaven is built on the love of Christians for one another. Improving the quality and unity of human relationships is the only real duty of existence. The prince of this world hates human life. He has a stronghold on the earth today, made from the torture and slaughter of innocents, the destruction of vows, and the desecration of the human temple. Right now, satan's army sits outside the gates of Christian civilization, and half the Church has no idea what is going on. President Trump is a flawed king, but he is a Christian king. His opponents are the servants of hell, chained by the monstrosity of their sins, these establishment republicans and democrats, along with many leaders worldwide, have made a pact with the evil one. Our blood is the currency with which they buy their transhuman technologies and unholy pleasures. Dark angels support them and give them worldly power. The people in the streets are just children, traumatized by the abusive policies of anti-human, anti-family governance. We must help them and lead them against the true enemies, if we can. We must be prepared to defend our families regardless. We must make our souls ready for a holy death. May we come together as the living saints and prepare ourselves and our children for the great tribulation that is coming. On the other side of suffering is our next level up as the Mystical Body of Christ, may we have eyes to see our specific parts and the humility to do His Will. God protect our children from perversion, and dispel the illusions of the masses. Holy Family of Heaven, pray for us. Holy Trinity, have mercy on us.

God took away my positive emotions so that I could learn to stop caring about my own and other people’s feelings and learn to stand alone against the world. Asceticism is the sage's place to train from. I got sold hard on the ‘love as comfort’ lie and now I’m thirty-six and pissed at the world for sucking, and pissed at myself for taking so long to see how enslaved we really are.
Christ is the resolution of the Father’s Will in our will. We aren’t here to just be passively faithful but to initiate change in the world through conflict. Women don’t understand this and they don’t need to; they don’t know what they want until they see it manifest. The change we need is a new Christian Patriarchy, and the Western novus ordo Church is feminized priests and feminized fathers capitulating with a feminized culture, thus forcing women to act like men and convincing men to stop protecting and leading women.
The King in our individual and collective psyche has been oppressed and repressed, and must now come forward in conflict and violence. This is why God is Father to us and not mother. The feminine is secondary to the will. Women are secondary to men. Those who submit and support will be our fuel and the others will get out of the way. Women must humble themselves or they will be humbled by God, just as the woman in each of us must be conquered in order to conquer the flesh. It is inevitable. This life is a war, let the warrior kings arise.

"It is necessary to boast; nothing is to be gained by it, but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a person in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know; God knows. And I know that such a person—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know; God knows—was caught up into Paradise and heard things that are not to be told, that no mortal is permitted to repeat. On behalf of such a one I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses. But if I wish to boast, I will not be a fool, for I will be speaking the truth. But I refrain from it, so that no one may think better of me than what is seen in me or heard from me, even considering the exceptional character of the revelations. Therefore, to keep me from being too elated, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, to keep me from being too elated. Three times I appealed to the Lord about this, that it would leave me, but he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness'. So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am strong."

"Reality can be defined by a sharp series of limitations on every living thing, the final boundary being death. We have only so much energy to expend before we tire; only so much in the way of food and resources is available to us; our skills and capacities can go only so far. An animal lives within those limits: it does not try to fly higher or run faster or expend endless energy amassing a pile of food, for that would exhaust it and leave it vulnerable to attack. It simply tries to make the most of what it has. A cat, for instance, instinctively practices an economy of motion and gesture, never wasting effort. People who live in poverty, similarly, are acutely aware of their limits: forced to make the most of what they have, they are endlessly inventive. Necessity has a powerful effect on their creativity.
The problem faced by those of us who live in societies of abundance is that we lose a sense of limit. We are carefully shielded from death and can pass months, even years, without contemplating it. We imagine endless time at our disposal and slowly drift further from reality; we imagine endless energy to draw on, thinking we can get what we want simply by trying harder. We start to see everything as limitless--the goodwill of friends, the possibility of wealth and fame. A few more classes and books and we can extend our talents and skills to the point where we become different people. Technology can make anything achievable. Abundance makes us rich in dreams, for in dreams there are no limits. But it makes us poor in reality. It makes us soft and decadent, bored with what we have and in need of constant shocks to remind us that we are alive. In life you must be a warrior, and war requires realism. While others may find beauty in endless dreams, warriors find it in reality, in awareness of limits, in making the most of what they have. Like the cat, they look for the perfect economy of motion and gesture--the way to give their blows the greatest force with the least expenditure of effort. Their awareness that their days are numbered--that they could die at any time--grounds them in reality. There are things they can never do, talents they will never have, lofty goals they will never reach; that hardly bothers them. Warriors focus on what they do have, the strengths that they do possess and that they must use creatively. Knowing when to slow down, to renew, to retrench, they outlast their opponents. They play for the long term.
Armies that seem to have the edge in money, resources, and firepower tend to be predictable. Relying on their equipment instead of on knowledge and strategy, they grow mentally lazy. When problems arise, their solution is to amass more of what they already have. But it's not what you have that brings you victory, it's how you use it. When you have less, you are naturally more inventive. Creativity gives you an edge over enemies dependent on technology; you will learn more, be more adaptable, and you will outsmart them. Unable to waste your limited resources, you will use them well. Time will be your ally. If you have less than your enemy, do not despair. You can always turn the situation around by practicing perfect economy. If you and your enemy are equals, getting hold of more weaponry matters less than making better use of what you have. If you have more than your enemy, fighting economically is as important as ever. As Pablo Picasso said, Even if you are wealthy, act poor. The poor are more inventive, and often have more fun, because they value what they have and know their limits. Sometimes in strategy you have to ignore your greater strength and force yourself to get the maximum out of the minimum. Even if you have the technology, fight the peasant's war."

Red Pills for the Year:
1. The international political-economic system is run by a Faustian cult of child murders/molesters, who think they can produce technology to live forever by forcing the large majority of the earth's population into a spiritual/psychological slave class. Spiritual war is breaking out into plain sight and the line between heaven and hell is being drawn in current international politics.
2. The majority of Western people are sexually damaged/perverted to a point of being on the brink of damnation. Most women worship themselves and their hypergamous feelings rejecting Christian authority, rational discourse, and male leadership, and thus destroying their Christian sexual market value. Women are intentionally programmed by media to value money and status over Christian virtue. Men are programmed to go after easy-lays and narcissists, instead of women with agency and integrity. Thus, we have a generation of very poorly bred and poorly raised young-people. Most men are crippled by addictions and spiritual cowardice for fear of losing sex and pleasure. Christian men have failed to stand against the wave of relativistic morality that is taking over both culture and Church. Men have failed to assert spiritual authority over their own bodies and to protect women from prostituting themselves. Females cannot discern the subtleties of good from evil without the leadership of men (both Christ and His priests and fathers).
3. Western men and women have rejected God's design for sexuality and forgotten that their lives are not about themselves and their 'happiness', but about building the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, through fearless procreation and education, physical and spiritual.
4. Western European White Civilization was chosen by Providence to convey the Gospel to the world, and has a responsibility to stand up for itself against the false progress of forced diversity and religious pluralism. Western men must be prepared, right now, to defend the Christian patrimony to the point of defensive war or a martyrs death. It is coming.
5. The current economic system is on the brink of collapse and must break in the near future. The American debt scandal is unsustainable and anti-Christian. We must be prepared to return to a system of barter and exchange, where talents and possessions can be leveraged to support and sustain local economies.
6. Those Christians who do not band together will be isolated and eliminated. We need a new Catholic model of community where Catholic families can live together, sharing duties and resources to support each other against the increasingly oppressive political system.
7. Love is the choice to serve, a choice to be made as many times a day as we can possibly manage. Happiness does not exist in this life, there is only the reward of the choice, and the choice is always a fight. God will give us rest when God wants to. We are the Church militant. Get ascetical or you'll go to hell.

"The Buddha famously said that life is suffering. I’m not a Buddhist, but I know what he meant and so do you. To exist in this world, we must contend with humiliation, broken dreams, sadness, and loss. That’s just nature. Each specific life comes with its own personalized portion of pain. It’s coming for you. You can’t stop it. And you know it. In response, most of us are programmed to seek comfort as a way to numb it all out and cushion the blows. We carve out safe spaces. We consume media that confirms our beliefs, we take up hobbies aligned with our talents, we try to spend as little time as possible doing the tasks we loathe, and that makes us soft. We live a life defined by the limits we imagine and desire for ourselves because it’s comfortable in that box.
The few who remain outside their walls will encounter even more pain and much more doubt, courtesy of those who we thought were our biggest fans... But it’s not the external voice that will break you down. It’s what you tell yourself that matters. The most important conversations you’ll ever have are the ones you’ll have with yourself. You wake up with them, you walk around with them, you go to bed with them, and eventually you act on them. Whether they be good or bad.
We are all our own worst haters and doubters because self-doubt is a natural reaction to any bold attempt to change your life for the better. You can’t stop it from blooming in your brain, but you can neutralize it, and all the other external chatter by asking, What if? 'What if' is an exquisite response to anyone who has ever doubted your greatness or stood in your way. It silences negativity. It’s a reminder that you don’t really know what you’re capable of until you put everything you’ve got on the line. It makes the impossible feel at least a little more possible. What if is the power and permission to face down your darkest demons, your very worst memories, and accept them as part of your history. If and when you do that, you will be able to use them as fuel to envision the most audacious, outrageous achievement and go get it.
We live in a world with a lot of insecure, jealous people. Some of them are our best friends. They are blood relatives. Failure terrifies them. So does our success. Because when we transcend what we once thought possible, push our limits, and become more, our light reflects off all the walls they’ve built up around them. Your light enables them to see the contours of their own prison, their own self-limitations. But if they are truly the great people you always believed them to be, their jealousy will evolve, and soon their imagination might hop its fence, and it will be their turn to change for the better."

"Love is sufficient of itself, it gives pleasure by itself and because of itself. It is its own merit, its own reward. Love looks for no cause outside itself, no effect beyond itself. Its profit lies in its practice. I love because I love, I love that I may love. Love is a great thing so long as it continually returns to its fountainhead, flows back to its source, always drawing from there the water which constantly replenishes it. Of all the movements, sensations and feelings of the soul, love is the only one in which the creature can respond to the Creator and make some sort of similar return however unequal it may be. For when God loves, all he desires is to be loved in return; the sole purpose of his love is to be loved, in the knowledge that those who love him are made happy by their love of him. The Bridegroom’s love, or rather the love which is the Bridegroom, asks in return nothing but faithful love. Let the beloved, then, love in return. Should not a bride love, and above all, Love’s bride? Could it be that Love not be loved?
Rightly then does she give up all other feelings and give herself wholly to love alone; in giving love back, all she can do is to respond to love. And when she has poured out her whole being in love, what is that in comparison with the unceasing torrent of that original source? Clearly, lover and Love, soul and Word, bride and Bridegroom, creature and Creator do not flow with the same volume; one might as well equate a thirsty man with the fountain.
What then of the bride’s hope, her aching desire, her passionate love, her confident assurance? Is all this to wilt just because she cannot match stride for stride with her giant, any more than she can vie with honey for sweetness, rival the lamb for gentleness, show herself as white as the lily, burn as bright as the sun, be equal in love with him who is Love? No. It is true that the creature loves less because she is less. But if she loves with her whole being, nothing is lacking where everything is given. To love so ardently then is to share the marriage bond; she cannot love so much and not be totally loved, and it is in the perfect union of two hearts that complete and total marriage consists."

"Videogames; junk-food; professional sportsball; the propagandistic mainstream media; a tsunami of pornography; alcohol and drugs; online shopping; social media and infinite scrolling: distractions, everywhere – all pervasive, bombarding us on every front, through every medium, by means of every sense. The Siren Call of Distraction: more cripplingly hypnotic than the Greeks ever imagined with their mythical seductresses. Distraction has spiritually shipwrecked more men of our era than Poseidon could ever lay claim to."

"Indeed, the new barbarism is itself technological, inasmuch as the whole system of propaganda and persecution, mass trials and concentration camps represents a carefully thought-out technique for ensuring social conformity and remaking mankind after some new ideological pattern. No wonder that Western man recoils in horror from this degradation of civilization and refuses to admit the possibility of its victory over the free world. Nevertheless the experience of the last thirty years has shown that the modern Western synthesis of political liberalism and economic technocracy involves certain moral weaknesses and contradictions in the system which make it incapable of providing a satisfactory answer to the totalitarian challenge. For while the democratic technological society is free, it lacks the higher moral aims which alone can justify the immense developments of technological power and organization. The system exists primarily to satisfy the material needs and demands of the consumers, and these demands are artificially determined by the advertisers who are the agents of the producers, so that the whole system has a circular movement and feeds upon itself."
"There is, however, another alternative which has been ignored both by the liberal rationalists who put their trust in individual reason guided by self-interest and by the psychologists who asserted the power of irrational impulses and the politicians and philosophers who exalted the will to power. This alternative is represented by the traditional religious or philosophical doctrine which solves the psychological and moral conflict by reference to a higher order of transcendent truths and values and ends, to which both the life of the individual and that of society are subordinated. The strength of this solution is that it, and it alone, provides a principle of co-ordination, so that the individual is not entirely sacrificed to the community, nor the community to the individual. It is, therefore, psychologically the more 'economical' method, whatever may be its metaphysical validity. Without such a principle of coordination there is no satisfactory means of reconciling the aims of the ego with the collective will. Indeed there is no room for the collective will itself as a rational force, and one is left with nothing more than some sort of herd instinct which has no reference to anything except the fears and delusions of the mass mind."
"This is the reform of our system of higher education of which I have spoken at length. In the modern world the average man can go through his whole education without becoming aware of the existence of this elementary and essential spiritual factor either in the individual psyche or in the life of civilization. Whether he studies the liberal arts or science and technology, he is given no inkling of the existence of any higher principle which can be known and which can influence individual behavior or social culture. Yet, as I have said, all the great historic civilizations of the past recognized the existence of some spiritual principles or ends of this kind and made them the key of their interpretation of reality and their concepts of moral order. Hence a system of education like that of the modern secular state which almost totally ignores the spiritual component in human culture and in the human psyche is a blunder so enormous that no advance in scientific method or educational technique is sufficient to compensate for it. In this respect we are inferior to many far less advanced cultures which have retained their consciousness of a spiritual order, for wherever this consciousness exists the culture still possesses a principle of integration. We have a long way to go before we can recover this lost principle of integration. But it is the function of education to open the mind to an appreciation of the spiritual as well as the scientific and humanistic inheritance of culture. If, as I have suggested, the spiritual vacuum in modern Western culture is a danger to its existence, it is the duty of the educationalist to point this out and to show how this vacuum has been filled in other ages or in other cultures. But the Christian educationalist can do much more than this, since he is fully aware of the reality of the spiritual order and is a living witness to the spiritual values on which our civilization was founded."

"What is it? you're not worried about anything?" she said, looking intently at his face in the starlight. But she could not have seen his face if a flash of lightning had not hidden the stars and revealed it. In that flash she saw his face distinctly, and seeing him calm and happy, she smiled at him.
"She understands," he thought; "she knows what I'm thinking about. Shall I tell her or not? Yes, I'll tell her." But at the moment he was about to speak, she began speaking.
"Kostya! do something for me," she said; "go into the corner room and see if they've made it all right for Sergey Ivanovitch. I can't very well. See if they've put the new wash stand in it."
"Very well, I'll go directly," said Levin, standing up and kissing her.
"No, I'd better not speak of it," he thought, when she had gone in before him. "It is a secret for me alone, of vital importance for me, and not to be put into words.
"This new feeling has not changed me, has not made me happy and enlightened all of a sudden, as I had dreamed, just like the feeling for my child. There was no surprise in this either. Faith—or not faith—I don't know what it is—but this feeling has come just as imperceptibly through suffering, and has taken firm root in my soul.
"I shall go on in the same way, losing my temper with Ivan the coachman, falling into angry discussions, expressing my opinions tactlessly; there will be still the same wall between the holy of holies of my soul and other people, even my wife; I shall still go on scolding her for my own terror, and being remorseful for it; I shall still be as unable to understand with my reason why I pray, and I shall still go on praying; but my life now, my whole life apart from anything that can happen to me, every minute of it is no more meaningless, as it was before, but it has the positive meaning of goodness, which I have the power to put into it."

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. And you shall bind them as a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."

"From a narrow perspective, the lesson that some draw from the history of slavery, automatically conceived of as the enslavement of blacks by whites, is that white people were or are uniquely evil. Against the broader background of world history, however, a very different lesson might be that no people of any color can be trusted with unbridled power over any other people, for such power has been grossly abused by whatever race, class, or political authority has held that power, whether under ancient despotism or modern totalitarianism, as well as under serfdom, slavery, or other forms of oppression. It was not because people thought slavery was right that it persisted for thousands of years. It persisted largely because people did not think about the rightness or wrongness of it at all. In very hierarchical societies, where most people were born into their predetermined niches in the social complex, slaves were simply at the bottom of a long continuum of varying levels of subordination based on birth. Even in colonial America, white indentured servants were a major part of the population and they were auctioned off just like black slaves. It was the rise of modern free societies and their accompanying ideologies in the West which made slavery stand out in stark contrast, and it was the emergence of a general questioning of institutions and beliefs in the eighteenth century—also in the West—that brought slavery into question. Once that happened, slavery could not stand up under moral scrutiny. Outside the West, it did not have to, at least not until after the spread of Western ideas of individual freedom belatedly took hold in some other societies. That such an institution could last so long unchallenged, on every inhabited continent, is a chilling example of what can happen when people simply do not think."
"Despite all this, those with an instrumental view of history have managed to turn things upside down and present slavery as an evil of 'our society' or of the white race or of Western civilization. One could as well do the same with murder or cancer, simply by ignoring these evils in other societies and incessantly denouncing their presence in the West. Yet what was peculiar about the West was not that it participated in the worldwide evil of slavery, but that it later abolished that evil, not only in Western societies but also in other societies subject to Western control or influence. This was possible only because the anti-slavery movement coincided with an era in which Western power and hegemony were at their zenith, so that it was essentially [Christian] European imperialism which ended slavery. This idea might seem shocking, not because it does not fit the facts, but because it does not fit the prevailing vision of our time."

WHAT DO YOU SEEK, My Countrymen?
Do you desire that I build for
You gorgeous palaces, decorated
With words of empty meaning, or
Temples roofed with dreams? Or
Do you command me to destroy what
The liars and tyrants have built?
Shall I uproot with my fingers
What the hypocrites and the wicked
Have implanted? Speak your insane
Wish!
Your hearts are withering from
Thirst, and yet the springs of
Life are streaming about your
Homes—why do you not drink?
The sea has its ebb and flow,
The moon has its fullness and
Crescents, and the Ages have
Their winter and summer, and all
Things vary like the shadow of
An unborn God moving between
Earth and sun, but Truth cannot
Be changed, nor will it pass away;
Why, then, do you endeavour to
Disfigure its countenance?

"Tell me the truth and dispel my illusions. Why is this kind of truth-telling such a rare thing? I wish that the five of us friends who love each other in Christ could make a pact. We would gather together on a regular basis for the purpose of freeing each other from illusion. We would suggest ways in which each of us could improve our relationship with God. No one knows himself as well as someone close to him who observes him with love and concern for his spiritual growth. These days there are groups of heretics that secretly get together just to plot wicked deeds against his Majesty. We would also have to meet in secret, because the kind of holy conversation I am proposing is not popular anymore. Even preachers are composing sermons so carefully that they will not risk displeasing anyone. Their intentions are fine. Their deeds are fine. But do they convince anyone to mend their lives? No!
Why doesn’t the average sermon inspire people to renounce whatever stands between them and their God? Do you want to know what I think? I think those who preach at the pulpit are too circumspect. They are nothing like the apostles, on fire with love of God, casting aside all restraint. Their meager flames offer little warmth. I’m not suggesting that their fire should burn as intensely as the blaze in the hearts of the apostles, but it could be a little hotter than what I see. Do you know what I think our greatest concern should be? Becoming detached from our lives and relinquishing our self-importance. All we need to do is tell the truth and hold it up for the greater glory of God. Fame and blame should be equally meaningless to us. In fact, those who risk everything for God will find that they have both lost it all and gained it all. I’m not claiming to have achieved this kind of equanimity myself, but I’m working on it."

"And a woman spoke, saying, 'Tell us of Pain'.
And he said:
Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding. Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain. And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy; and you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields. And you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief. Much of your pain is self-chosen. It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self. Therefore trust the physician, and drink his remedy in silence and tranquility: For his hand, though heavy and hard, is guided by the tender hand of the Unseen, and the cup he brings, though it burn your lips, has been fashioned of the clay which the Potter has moistened with His own sacred tears."

"A prime motive for discipline is this: You are the most kind, gentle teacher that your children will ever have. Never again will they be taught how to get along in life by anyone who has so much love for them. If you don’t discipline now, for whatever reason—because you feel guilty or too strict, or are afraid of doing something 'wrong', or you think it’s just easier to let them go—then who will ultimately discipline your children? The world. And the world is not a kind or gentle place to learn lessons." - Dr. Ray Guarendi

"Embedded in most methods of psychotherapy is the belief that 'healing' is the outcome of a relational process: that if we are wounded in an unsafe relationship, the wounds must heal in a context of relational safety. But what if the quality of our internal attachment bonds, rather than our interpersonal attachments, is a more powerful determinant of our ability to feel safe? What if attachment to ourselves is a bigger contributor to the sense of well-being than the attachment we feel to and from others? What if being witnessed as we recall painful events does not heal the injuries caused by those experiences? And what if compassion for the child who lived through these events is more important than knowing the details of what happened? If that is so, and I believe it is, then trauma treatment must focus less on painful and traumatic events and more on cultivating compassion for our disowned selves and their painful experiences. When all parts of us feel internally connected and held lovingly inside, each can experience feeling safe, welcome, and worthy, often for the first time. The first step is to become curious about this 'other' inside whom we do not really know." - Janina Fisher
And what if we add to the internal family system the indwelling of The Holy Trinity, Mary, Joseph, and the Angels and Saints? With these loves to inform the love of self, no obstacle of trauma, or disassociated part, can offer any safety greater than the radical acceptance, total forgiveness, infinite creativity, perfect valuation, and unconditional hope that is offered to the (baptized) soul through communion with Christ's own Self. It is the internal relationship with Jesus that heals perfectly. But this relationship, like all relationships, requires the constant effort of mindful communication, that is, making a quiet space in the self-family - even during moments of peak anxiety or triggered fragmentation - for the Other to speak, and listening as if the Other were the Truest Self, the Head to whom all parts are equally submitted. Our responses will set His limitation and He will come again to meet us where we are. When we feel confident to imitate Him, we should do the same for those we love. The spirating dance from Christ-self, to myself, to yourself and back is the nuptial mystery that captures in its eternal movement all the pain and joy of life, raising us from the boundedness of this world to the freedom of the next.

"Not capriciously, and without reason; but I was taught well and truly, that money is no real possession, but a most despicable thing, a thing which moreover belongs as well to thieves, and to harlots, and to grave-robbers. So I gave up these things, and went on till I fell in with the excellence of thy soul, which I value above all gold. For a young damsel who is discreet and ingenuous, and whose heart is set on piety, is worth the whole world. For these reasons then, I courted thee, and I love thee, and prefer thee to my own soul. For the present life is nothing. And I pray, and beseech, and do all I can, that we may be counted worthy so to live this present life, as that we may be able also there in the world to come to be united to one another in perfect security. For our time here is brief and fleeting. But if we shall be counted worthy by having pleased God to so exchange this life for that one, then shall we ever be both with Christ and with each other, with more abundant pleasure. I value thy affection above all things, and nothing is so bitter or so painful to me, as ever to be at variance with thee..."

"No one may share the Eucharist with us unless he believes that what we teach is true, unless he is washed in the regenerating waters of baptism for the remission of his sins, and unless he lives in accordance with the principles given us by Christ.
We do not consume the eucharistic bread and wine as if it were ordinary food and drink, for we have been taught that as Jesus Christ our Saviour became a man of flesh and blood by the power of the Word of God, so also the food that our flesh and blood assimilates for its nourishment becomes the flesh and blood of the incarnate Jesus by the power of his own words contained in the prayer of thanksgiving."

"There is no historical justification of Bertrand Russell’s belief that the Christian attitude to marriage has had a brutalizing effect on sexual relations and has degraded the position of woman below even the level of ancient civilization: on the contrary, women have always had a wider share in social life and a greater influence on civilization in Europe than was the case either in Hellenic or oriental society. And this is in part due to those very ideals of asceticism and chastity which Bertrand Russell regards as the source of all our troubles. For in a Catholic civilization the patriarchal ideal is counterbalanced by the ideal of virginity. The family for all its importance does not control the whole existence of its members. The spiritual side of life belongs to a spiritual society in which all authority is reserved to a celibate class. Thus in one of the most important aspects of life the sexual relation is transcended, and husband and wife stand on an equal footing. I believe that this is the chief reason why the feminine element has achieved fuller expression in Catholic culture and why, even at the present day, the feminine revolt against the restrictions of family life is so much less marked in Catholic society than elsewhere."
"The bourgeois and the erotic temperaments constitute, so to speak, the two opposite poles of the world. Sombart’s use of the word 'erotic' is of course wider than the current English term. Unsatisfactory as the word 'erotic' is, it is the best we have, for 'charitable' is even more miserably inadequate. Our bourgeois culture has reduced the heavenly flame of St. Paul’s inspired speech to a dim bulb that is hardly strong enough to light a mothers’ meeting. But Sombart expressly distinguishes it from sensuality, which may be found in either of the two types of temperament. Indeed, the erotic type par excellence in Sombart’s view is the religious mystic, the 'man of desire', like St. Augustine or St. Francis."
"Seen from this point of view, it is obvious that the Christian ethos is essentially antibourgeois, since it is an ethos of love. This is particularly obvious in the case of St. Francis and the mediaeval mystics, who appropriated to their use the phraseology of mediaeval erotic poetry and used the antibourgeois concepts of the chivalrous class-consciousness, such as 'adel', 'noble', and 'gentile' in order to define the spiritual character of the true mystic."
"But it is no less clear in the case of the Gospel itself. The spirit of the Gospel is eminently that of the 'open' type which gives, asking nothing in return, and spends itself for others. It is essentially hostile to the spirit of calculation, the spirit of worldly prudence and above all to the spirit of religious self-seeking and self-satisfaction. For what is the Pharisee but a spiritual bourgeois, a typically 'closed' nature, a man who applies the principle of calculation and gain not to economics but to religion itself, a hoarder of merits, who reckons his accounts with heaven as though God was his banker? It is against this 'closed', self-sufficient moralist ethic that the fiercest denunciations of the Gospels are directed. Even the sinner who possesses a seed of generosity, a faculty of self-surrender, and an openness of spirit is nearer to the kingdom of heaven than the 'righteous' Pharisee; for the soul that is closed to love is closed to grace."

“O my God, how sweet it is to suffer for You, suffer in the most secret recesses of the heart, in the greatest hiddenness, to burn like a sacrifice noticed by no one, pure as crystal, with no consolation or compassion. My spirit burns in active love. I waste no time in dreaming. I take every moment singly as it comes, for this is within my power. The past does not belong to me; the future is not mine; with all my soul I try to make use of the present moment."

“Now when charity draws some to poverty and withdraws others from it, when she directs some to marriage and others to continence, when she shuts one up in a cloister and makes another quit it, she is not bound to give account thereof to any one: for she has the plenitude of power in Christian laws, as it is written: charity can do all things; she has the perfection of prudence, according to that: charity does nothing wrongly. And if any would contest, and demand why she so does, she will boldly make answer: The Lord hath need of it.
All is made for charity, and charity for God. All must serve her and she none...
In fine she is a sacred water, by which the garden of the church is fertilized, and though she herself have no colour that can be called colour, yet the flowers which she makes spring have each one its particular colour. She makes Martyrs redder than the rose, Virgins whiter than the lily; some she dyes with the fine violet of mortification, others with the yellow of marriage-cares, variously employing the counsels, for the perfection of the souls who are so happy as to live under her conduct.”

“And now I am no more in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name, which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. While I was with them, I kept them in thy name, which thou hast given me; I have guarded them, and none of them is lost but the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I do not pray that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; thy word is truth. As thou didst send me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be consecrated in truth.”
“I do not pray for these only, but also for those who believe in me through their word, that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. The glory which thou hast given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and thou in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them even as thou hast loved me. Father, I desire that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me where I am, to behold my glory which thou hast given me in thy love for me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world has not known thee, but I have known thee; and these know that thou hast sent me. I made known to them thy name, and I will make it known, that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

1. INCREASE YOUR FAITH.
Even if the entire world appears mad.
2. ACT UPON YOUR FAITH.
Even if you must undergo the loss of everything.
3. ANALYZE YOUR FEARS.
You will find that things are not as bad as they appear.
4. MAKE VIRTUE THE ONLY GOAL OF YOUR LIFE.
Dedicate all your enthusiasm, all your effort, your leisure as well as your business.
5. TURN AWAY FROM MATERIAL THINGS.
If you are greatly concerned with money you will be weak of spirit.
6. TRAIN YOUR MIND TO DISTINGUISH GOOD AND EVIL.
Let your rule of government be determined by the common good.
7. NEVER LET ANY SETBACK STOP YOU IN YOUR QUEST.
We are not perfect—this only means we should try harder.
8. IF YOU HAVE FREQUENT TEMPTATIONS, DO NOT WORRY.
Begin to worry when you do not have temptation, because that is a sure sign that you cannot distinguish good from evil.
9. ALWAYS BE PREPARED FOR AN ATTACK.
Careful generals set guards even in times of peace.
10. SPIT, AS IT WERE, IN THE FACE OF DANGER.
Keep a stirring quotation with you for encouragement.
11. THERE ARE TWO DANGERS: ONE IS GIVING UP, THE OTHER IS PRIDE.
After you have performed some worthy task, give all the credit to someone else.
12. TURN YOUR WEAKNESS INTO VIRTUE.
If you are inclined to be selfish, make a deliberate effort to be giving.
13. TREAT EACH BATTLE AS THOUGH IT WERE YOUR LAST.
And you will finish, in the end, victorious!
14. DON’T ASSUME THAT DOING GOOD ALLOWS YOU TO KEEP A FEW VICES.
The enemy you ignore the most is the one who conquers you.
15. WEIGH YOUR ALTERNATIVES CAREFULLY.
The wrong way will often seem easier than the right way.
16. NEVER ADMIT DEFEAT EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN WOUNDED.
The good soldier’s painful wounds spur him to gather his strength.
17. ALWAYS HAVE A PLAN OF ACTION.
So when the time comes for battle, you will know what to do.
18. CALM YOUR PASSIONS BY SEEING HOW LITTLE THERE IS TO GAIN.
We often worry and scheme about trifling matters of no real importance.

LOGOS RISING: A HISTORY OF ULTIMATE REALITY
"Just as there were no Dark Ages, there was no Scientific Revolution. Rather, the notion of a Scientific Revolution was invented to discredit the medieval Church by claiming that science burst forth in full bloom (thus owing no debts to prior Scholastic scholars) only when a weakened Christianity no longer could suppress it. But, as will be seen, the great scientific achievements of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries were produced by a group of scholars notable for their piety, who were based in Christian universities, and whose brilliant achievements were carefully built upon an invaluable legacy of centuries of brilliant Scholastic scholarship." - Rodney Stark; Bearing False Witness

"My Jesus, I believe that You are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I long for You in my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though You have already come, I embrace You and unite myself entirely to You; never permit me to be separated from You." - Saint Alphonsus DeLigouri
"Make as many Spiritual Communions as possible, to supply for the many Sacramental Communions which are not made. One every quarter of an hour is not enough. Make them shorter, but more numerous." - Our Lord to Sr. Benigna Consolata

“And assuredly they especially advance beyond others in virtues, who strive the most manfully to overcome the very things which are the hardest and most contrary to them. For there a man does profit more and merit more abundant grace, when he does most to overcome himself and mortify his spirit. All have not, indeed, equal difficulties to overcome and mortify, but a diligent and zealous person will make a greater progress though he have more passions than another, who is well regulated but less fervent in the pursuit of virtues.” - Imitation of Christ, Book I:25

"Mahomet did not, like the Magi, find a new star; he saw through his own particular window a glimpse of the great grey field of the ancient starlight. So when we say that the country contains so many Confucians or Buddhists, we mean it contains so many pagans whose prophets have given them another and rather vaguer version of the invisible power; making it not only invisible but almost impersonal. When we say that they also have temples and idols and priests and periodical festivals, we simply mean that this sort of heathen is enough of a human being to admit the popular element of pomp and pictures and feasts and fairy-tales. We only mean that Pagans have more sense than Puritans.
But what their gods are supposed to be, what their priests are commissioned to say, is not a sensational secret like what those running messengers of the Gospel had to say. Nobody else except those messengers has any Gospel; nobody else has any good news; for the simple reason that nobody else has any news. [Christ's] runners gather impetus as they run. Ages afterwards they still speak as if something had just happened. They have not lost the speed and momentum of messengers; they have hardly lost, as it were, the wild eyes of witnesses. In the Catholic Church, which is the cohort of the message, there are still those headlong acts of holiness that speak of something rapid and recent; a self-sacrifice that startles the world like a suicide. But it is not a suicide; it is not pessimistic; it is still as optimistic as St. Francis of the flowers and birds. It is newer in spirit than the newest schools of thought; and it is almost certainly on the eve of new triumphs. For these men serve a mother who seems to grow more beautiful as new generations rise up and call her blessed. We might sometimes fancy that the Church grows younger as the world grows old."

"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure." - 1 John 3:1-3

"Do not be astonished, brothers and sisters, that the world hates you. We know that we have passed from death to life because we love one another. Whoever does not love abides in death. All who hate a brother or sister are murderers, and you know that murderers do not have eternal life abiding in them. We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another. How does God’s love abide in anyone who has the world’s goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help? Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action. And by this we will know that we are from the truth and will reassure our hearts before him whenever our hearts condemn us; for God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God; and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him."

"There are two broad categories of communication problems. One is perception. In that case, based on their prior experiences, different individuals are placing different interpretations on the same facts. The other is credibility. In that situation, one or both of the persons is questioning the sincerity, the integrity, the competence, or perhaps the sanity, of the other. Semantics, or word definition problems, would fall under the perception category. I am convinced that most credibility problems originate in a perception difference, but because most of us think we see the world as it is, not as the perceiver himself is, we won’t acknowledge this. So instead of making a communication effort to solve the perception difference, each of us, seeking to justify himself, immediately begins to judge the other person as insincere, dishonest, uninformed, or whatever. Alternatively, if a person’s self-confidence is low, he may seek to justify the other and condemn himself. These credibility problems may ultimately result in what we call 'personality conflicts' or 'communication breakdowns.' I believe that if you trace to its genesis almost any credibility problem, personality conflict, or communication breakdown, you will find a perception problem." - Stephen Covey

Happy feast to my first and favorite sister in heaven, the beautiful Spanish mystic and lover of Saint Joseph, pierced by Our Lord's seraphic arrow, crushed under the holy weight of Love:
“I have never known anyone who was truly devoted to him (Saint Joseph) and honored him by particular services who did not advance greatly in virtue, for he helps in a special way those souls who recommend themselves to him... I ask for the love of God that he who does not believe me will make the trial for himself — then he will find out by experience the great good that results from recommending oneself to this glorious patriarch and in being devoted to him.”
“She (our Blessed Mother) said that I pleased her very much by being devout to the glorious St. Joseph.”
“. . . it is presumption in me to wish to choose my own path, because I cannot tell which path is best for me. I must leave it to the Lord, Who knows me, to lead me by the path which is best for me, so that in all things His Will may be done.”
“Christ has no body now but yours. No hands, no feet on earth but yours. Yours are the eyes through which he looks compassion on this world. Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good. Yours are the hands through which he blesses all the world. Yours are the hands, yours are the feet, yours are the eyes, you are his body."
“It is foolish to think that we will enter heaven without entering into ourselves.”
“You pay God a compliment by asking great things of Him.”
“The closer one comes to God, the simpler one becomes.”
"Love turns work into rest."

"Weary with toil, I haste me to my bed,
The dear repose for limbs with travel tired;
But then begins a journey in my head,
To work my mind, when body's works expired:
For then my thoughts (far from where I abide)
Intend a zealous pilgrimage to thee,
And keep my drooping eyelids open wide,
Looking on darkness which the blind do see:
Save that my soul's imaginary sight
Presents thy shadow to my sightless view,
Which, like a jewel hung in a ghastly night,
Makes black night beauteous, her old face new
Lo, thus, by day my limbs, by night my mind
For thee, and for myself, no quiet find."
- Sonnet XXVII

Enlighten me, guide me, strengthen me, protect me; bear fruit in me for the redemption of the world!

Let us then from our hands, and feet, and mouth, and all other members, yield first-fruits to God.” - St. John Chrysostom

"The Warrior of the Light is a believer.
Because he believes in miracles, miracles begin to happen. Because he is sure that his thoughts can change his life, his life begins to change. Because he is certain that he will find love, love appears. Now and then, he is disappointed. Sometimes, he gets hurt. But the Warrior knows that it is worth it. For every defeat, he has two victories in his favor.
All believers know this." - Paulo Coelho

“Upon a darkened night
the flame of love was burning in my breast
And by a lantern bright
I fled my house while all in quiet rest
Shrouded by the night
And by the secret stair I quickly fled
The veil concealed my eyes
while all within lay quiet as the dead
Oh night thou was my guide
oh night more loving than the rising sun
Oh night that joined the lover
to the beloved one
transforming each of them into the other
Upon that misty night
in secrecy, beyond such mortal sight
Without a guide or light
than that which burned so deeply in my heart
That fire t'was led me on
and shone more bright than of the midday sun
To where he waited still
it was a place where no one else could come
Within my pounding heart
which kept itself entirely for him
He fell into his sleep
beneath the cedars all my love I gave
From o'er the fortress walls
the wind would his hair against his brow
And with its smoothest hand
caressed my every sense it would allow
I lost myself to him
and laid my face upon my lover's breast
And care and grief grew dim
as in the morning's mist became the light
There they dimmed amongst the lilies fair”

“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” - John 15:8-11
