Summer Storm*

7/26/2015

Declipsing rays around my edges rent
The longest summer solstice light was sent
By intrepid lover’s magic scepter
Not diffused nor conquered by deception
As I knelt unceasing intercession
Fighting back a wall of raging wind
Through shouting clouds her whisper to me hymned
In lightning eye of storm a sacred message

Violent surprises from the sky as calls
Blasting fragile moss with falling stars
Cystic tensions tilled to still born child
Expectations deigned to make us mild
But we will not concede to easy peak
Let tempered fires burn and bless our balance
Desiccated flesh forms hands and chalice
Unmeasured gifts will keep our manners meek

Poor and humble constant converting love
Nadir zeniths wrapping genius rugs
Dry fields glow green fireflies of grace
Anew moon aura on the champion chaste
An ascending and descending good
Climb Jacob’s ladder as the morning breaks
Herculean change, the holy habit aches
We dance four seasons of God’s Fatherhood

Guiding Spirit rising water nets
Catching corpses resurrected wet
I wonder if I’ve even seen her yet…
Yet, I feel her body in my breath
And she does stand beside me and inside me
While ground around our feet disintegrates
We will fall but find each other's face
Our Shekhinah’s consistent mystery

What God has joined no storm nor sword can flay
We wait while winds exhaust and steels decay
Two mating souls vibrating worlds create
Christ unites in light that wastes no space
A wave of fire time cannot contain
The intercoursing movement preaches Cross
No love exists beyond the wound of God
After matter, death, and pain, persons remain

Lifted hand-eye praise to blackened sky
Haunted scars on core and punished pride
The seraph wrestled tarot tricks from hip
In sin we hid the memories of Him
Awaken child, the nascent time has grown
To aviate the cyclone’s mass
To claim for Christ ‘this too shall pass’
Your hierogram of simple Mercy shown

Teal iris taught us how to live this vow
To walk the aisle without escaping route
Regina’s ark of care is daring cape
Though daughters lust and beauty break
Memnoch’s cloak of light colors seduce her
Thus our armor must outweigh the beast
With martyr’s ardor ready rosen wreaths
Refugees to coral Queen maneuvers

We close our ajna chakras and repent
Mary-Joseph open broken moment
Black planet ocean drifting, listen
All I need is sister’s inner vision
She is me and we believe in Love
‘Dawn the rising Son’ young terra sings
We are body one, Breath’s wedding rings
Above the spiral Christa, knitting dove
